Identity & Life Transitions Therapy
When life no longer feels quite the same
There are moments in life when the person you have been no longer feels quite like the person you are becoming.
A new chapter, relationship, separation, becoming a parent, career change, loss or simply reaching a point where you begin questioning what you really want can all leave you feeling uncertain.
You may feel stuck, disconnected from yourself or unsure which direction to take.
Sometimes there isn't one obvious reason. You may simply have a sense that something needs to change.
Exploring who you are
Therapy can provide a space to slow down and explore what is happening beneath the surface.
My approach is person-centred, which means there is no expectation that I have the answers for you. Instead, we'll work together to understand your experiences, values, needs and what feels important to you.
We can explore identity, self-esteem, relationships, expectations and the parts of yourself that may have become lost or pushed aside.
When change brings difficult emotions
Even positive changes can bring uncertainty, grief or anxiety.
You might find yourself questioning your choices, comparing yourself to others or feeling pressure to have everything figured out.
Therapy can give you permission to acknowledge those feelings rather than feeling that you have to simply push through them.
Finding your own direction
Therapy isn't about being told what decision to make.
It's about creating enough space to hear your own thoughts, understand your feelings and develop a clearer sense of what you need.
I offer online therapy to clients across the UK, with in-person therapy available in Berkshire.
Looking for therapy in your area?
